Besides giving the required energy, the food you eat every day also plays an important role in preventing many diseases. Whether the foods we eat healthily or not, it all depends on us.   1. Broccoli
Broccoli is one cancer-fighting food, contains sulfur compounds, such as sulforaphane. Consume more broccoli can prune the risk of someone of breast cancer, lung cancer, and colon cancer. Sulforaphane also has been proven to be effective to kill the bacteria that cause ulcers. Broccoli is also the best source of calcium and potassium, so good for the bones and regulate your blood pressure. Vitamin C and beta-carotene can also protect your eyes from cataracts and keep brain cells from free radical attack.

Spinach is rich in lutein antioxidants and zeaxanthin which is maintain the sharp eyesight. It is also full of vitamin A and serious calcium that is almost 245 milligrams as much as a glass of milk. The fresh spinach also contains 3.2 milligrams of iron more than beef. It should be remembered that this is not easily absorbed so please consume some foods having vitamin C to make them more easily absorbed.

Proven when paired with a salad, monounsaturated fats help us in better absorb the carotenoids, lycopene, and beta-carotene. Preliminary research also found that avocado could play a role in inhibiting the growth of prostate cancer cells.
