Why are we always ups and downs in sins?

Shalom.

I want to live on earth as in heaven. I know you want to live on earth as in heaven too. Together we want to live on earth as in heaven.

If all human beings want to live on earth as in heaven, then evil will wane quickly. And that's when peace exists among human beings on earth.

Matthew {6:10} Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as [it is] in heaven.

I am happy. You are happy. All humans will be happy. :)

Question:
Nita
Shalom ..
I am a Christian;
I want to ask.
Have I you experienced ups and downs in building an intimate relationship with Jesus?
Because I also had a wonderful experience with Jesus.
But I always ups and downs and as it continues.
And sometimes I feel ashamed of my condition now in God's presence.
Because I know the truth but I always hurt his heart.

Answer:

Ups and downs are common in human life. Included here are the ups and downs in our relationship with the Lord Jesus.

Why is that? Since we all have sinned and lost the glory of God (Romans 3:23). And the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23).

John {3:1} There was a man of the Pharisees, named
Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: {3:2} The same came to
Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou
art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these
miracles that thou doest, except God be with him. {3:3}
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto
thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the
kingdom of God. {3:4} Nicodemus saith unto him, How can
a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time
into his mother’s womb, and be born? {3:5} Jesus
answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be
born of water and [of] the Spirit, he cannot enter into the
kingdom of God. {3:6} That which is born of the flesh is
flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. {3:7}
Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
{3:8} The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest
the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and
whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
{3:9} Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can
these things be? {3:10} Jesus answered and said unto him,
Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?
{3:11} Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do
know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our
witness. {3:12} If I have told you earthly things, and ye
believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you [of] heavenly
things? {3:13} And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but
he that came down from heaven, [even] the Son of man
which is in heaven.
{3:14} And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the
wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
{3:15} That whosoever believeth in him should not perish,
but have eternal life.
{3:16} For God so loved the world, that he gave his only
begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not
perish, but have everlasting life. {3:17} For God sent not
his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the
world through him might be saved.
{3:18} He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he
that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath
not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
{3:19} And this is the condemnation, that light is come into
the world, and men loved darkness rather than light,
because their deeds were evil. {3:20} For every one that
doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest
his deeds should be reproved. {3:21} But he that doeth truth
cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest,
that they are wrought in God.

Wages Of Sin Is Death Royalty Free Stock Photography - 39046037

When we follow Jesus and be baptized then we become a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17).

2 Corinthians {5:17} Therefore if any man [be] in
Christ, [he is] a new creature: old things are passed away;
behold, all things become new.

So in every Christian who has been baptized, there is an old man living in sin (the natural man) and the new man (spiritual man).

The desire of the old man who lived in sin and the new man has always opposed and this is what causes us like ups and downs in sin.

An old man living in the flesh while the new human life in the Spirit (Galatians 5:16-26).

That is why Jesus told us to watch and pray.

Matthew {26:41} Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit

indeed [is] willing, but the flesh [is] weak.

Mark {14:38} Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. The spirit truly [is] ready, but the
flesh [is] weak.

By watching and praying that we will be strong in the face of temptation. All trials are divided into the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the pride of life (1 John 2:16).

1 John
{2:15} Love not the world, neither the things [that are] in the world. If any man love the
world, the love of the Father is not in him. {2:16} For all that [is] in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. {2:17} And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

When the devil tempted Jesus, the devil tempting to do all three of the above.

Matthew {4:1} Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the
wilderness to be tempted of the devil. {4:2} And when he
had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an
hungred. {4:3} And when the tempter came to him, he said,
If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be
made bread. {4:4} But he answered and said, It is written,
Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that
proceedeth out of the mouth of God. {4:5} Then the devil
taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a
pinnacle of the temple, {4:6} And saith unto him, If thou be
the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall
give his angels charge concerning thee: and in [their] hands
they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot
against a stone. {4:7} Jesus said unto him, It is written
again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. {4:8} Again,
the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain,
and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the
glory of them; {4:9} And saith unto him, All these things
will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.
{4:10} Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan:
for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and
him only shalt thou serve. {4:11} Then the devil leaveth
him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.

The lust of the flesh = Matthew {4:3} And when the tempter came to him, he said,
If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.

The pride of life = Matthew {4:6} And saith unto him, If thou be
the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall
give his angels charge concerning thee: and in [their] hands
they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot
against a stone.

The lust of the eyes = Matthew {4:9} And saith unto him, All these things
will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.

One more thing that likes to make children of God fall is money.

1 Timothy {6:7} For we brought nothing into [this] world, [and it is] certain we can
carry nothing out. {6:8} And having food and raiment let us
be therewith content. {6:9} But they that will be rich fall
into temptation and a snare, and [into] many foolish and
hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
{6:10} For the love of money is the root of all evil: which
while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith,
and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

Regarding the issue of money, Jesus gave a warning to us.

Matthew {6:24} No man can serve two masters: for either he will
hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the
one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Luke {16:13} No servant can serve two masters: for either he
will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to
the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

I also like ups and downs in my life, even the pastors and the leaders in the Bible also could ups and downs like us.

Remember. John the Baptist had also doubted Jesus until he sent his disciples asked Jesus, saying, "Art thou he that should come? or look we for another?" (Matthew 11:2-19, Luke 7:18-35). Whereas before it stating that Jesus is the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world (John 1:29).

According to Paul, we live like in a game, so we have to train the body and master it (1 Corinthians 9:24-27).

1 Timothy {6:12} Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

The question now is what is the master of the body? The mastering body is our intention to master the hearts, minds, and our tongues.

In a match then sometimes we lose and sometimes we win. Therefore, Jesus told us to watch and pray (Matthew 26:41, Mark 14:38).

Besides Jesus also told us to deny ourselves and bear the cross every heart.

But we do not fight alone because Jesus has given the Holy Spirit living in our hearts (Proverbs 4:23, John 7:38-39).

Jeremiah {31:33} But this [shall be] the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After
those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Jeremiah {32:40} And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; but I will put my fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me.

Acts {15:8} And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as [he did] unto us

2 Corinthians {3:3} [Forasmuch as ye are] manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.

IF WE STRIVE TO FACE TEMPTATION OWN WILL THEN WE WILL LOSE, BUT IF WE ASK THE PROTECTION OF GOD THEN WE WILL WIN WHEN FACED WITH TEMPTATION because the Holy Spirit will strengthen us.

Romans {8:28} And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to
them who are the called according to [his] purpose.

Psalms {37:23} The steps of a [good] man are ordered by the LORD: and he
delighteth in his way.
{37:24} Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD
upholdeth [him with] his hand.

Ephesians {6:10} Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in
the power of his might. {6:11} Put on the whole armour of
God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the
devil. {6:12} For we wrestle not against flesh and blood,
but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers
of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in
high [places. ]{6:13} Wherefore take unto you the whole
armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil
day, and having done all, to stand. {6:14} Stand therefore,
having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the
breastplate of righteousness; {6:15} And your feet shod
with the preparation of the gospel of peace; {6:16} Above
all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to
quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. {6:17} And take
the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is
the word of God: {6:18} Praying always with all prayer and
supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all
perseverance and supplication for all saints;

1 Peter {5:8} Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring
lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

James {4:7} Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Conclusion
You realize that already sinned, aka you fall. HOLY SPIRIT REMINDS YOU IF YOU HAVE sinned. SO YOU WAKE UP AGAIN. AND YOU KEEP YOUR SIN SO YOU FALL AGAIN.

In order not to fall ups and downs in sin continually then, YOU MUST PRAY AND precaution, submit to God, worship Him and resist the devil (1 Peter 5: 8). How to resist the devil is taking the Word of God, as Jesus did when tempted by the devil (Matthew 4:1-11).

Hebrews {4:12} For the word of God [is] quick, and
powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing
even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the
joints and marrow, and [is] a discerner of the thoughts and
intents of the heart. {4:13} Neither is there any creature that
is not manifest in his sight: but all things [are] naked and
opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.

Revelation {19:11} And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he
that sat upon him [was] called Faithful and True, and in
righteousness he doth judge and make war. {19:12} His
eyes [were] as a flame of fire, and on his head [were] many
crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but
he himself. {19:13} And he [was] clothed with a vesture
dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
{19:14} And the armies [which were] in heaven followed
him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and
clean. {19:15} And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword,
that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule
them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the
fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. {19:16} And he
hath on [his] vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING
OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

AND THE WORD OF GOD IS JESUS.

John {1:1} In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was
with God, and the Word was God. {1:2} The same was in
the beginning with God. {1:3} All things were made by
him; and without him was not any thing made that was
made. {1:4} In him was life; and the life was the light of
men. {1:5} And the light shineth in darkness; and the
darkness comprehended it not.
{1:6} There was a man sent from God, whose name [was]
John. {1:7} The same came for a witness, to bear witness of
the Light, that all [men] through him might believe. {1:8}
He was not that Light, but [was sent] to bear witness of that
Light. {1:9} [That] was the true Light, which lighteth every
man that cometh into the world. {1:10} He was in the
world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew
him not. {1:11} He came unto his own, and his own
received him not. {1:12} But as many as received him, to
them gave he power to become the sons of God, [even] to
them that believe on his name: {1:13} Which were born, not
of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man,
but of God. {1:14} And the Word was made flesh, and
dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of
the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
{1:15} John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This
was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is
preferred before me: for he was before me. {1:16} And of
his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace. {1:17}
For the law was given by Moses, [but] grace and truth came
by Jesus Christ. {1:18} No man hath seen God at any time;
the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father,
he hath declared [him.]
