ICE HOTEL: The Largest Hotel in the World made from ICE and SNOW

I want to live on earth as in heaven. I know you want to live on earth as in heaven too. Together we want to live on earth as in heaven.

If all human beings want to live on earth as in heaven, then evil will wane quickly. And that's when peace comes down to earth.

Matthew {6:10} Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as [it is] in heaven.

I am happy. You are happy. All humans will be happy. :)

The ice hotel is amazing places to be visited when winter came. Ice hotel only constructed in the winter. The fact that the owners build the hotel every year using ice and snow blocks. Because when the temperature rises in spring, the hotel melts down so their life span is pretty short. I’m sure it’s not easy building and maintaining it every year.

Ice hotels exist in several countries. But in this article, I would tell the world’s first and largest ice hotel. Welcome to Jukkasjärvi, a remote village located 200 km north of the Arctic Circle. It was opened in 1990 by Yngve Bergqvist. Simply it’s called the ICEHOTEL, a unique art project and a hotel made of ice and snow and snice (the perfect blend of snow and ice). It is constructed from less more 30,000 tons of snice, to strengthen the structure and 2,000 tons of Torne River ice. Torne River is one of the few rivers that flow right next to the hotel. It has not been used for industrial purposes. So its natural beauty and special history are an inspiration for the artists. The walls, floors, and ceilings of the hotel are built by an expert crew of designers and architects from all creative disciplines.

Every winter, less or more 40 artists from around the world gather in Jukkasjärvi, Sweden to participate in building ICEHOTEL. The hotel is not only rooms and beds, there’s an art project made of snow and ice that is totally unique. The amazing structure is a combination of guest lodging and ice art installations. Available feature 80 room suites are available for around 100 guests, a bar and a church among others. The ICEHOTEL created the Ice Bar concept, which is a bar made of ice. Enjoy the delicious cocktail or have a glass of champagne, with glasses made from ice

You also can explore the art and sample the wild flavors of Swedish Lapland in ICEHOTEL restaurants. Let you experience a gastronomic adventure and a high-end à la carte menu in a bright and modern atmosphere. The fact that the cuisine of ICEHOTEL Restaurant has been featured in gourmet magazines around the world and has been awarded the prestigious Werner Vögeli Statuette and honorary New Nordic Food awarded by the Nordic Council of Ministers. Sounds cool!

If you are interested in visiting this place in winter, get there during winter before mid-April. In mid-April, the hotel is closed, because it's slowly beginning to melt and becomes the world’s most epic ruin. For those of you who want to experience an incredibly romantic, I suggest you come on December 25 because you can celebrate Christmas with a new atmosphere there. In addition, there are couples from around the world come to Jukkasjärvi to vow each other eternal fidelity.

Wedding at the Icehotel in Sweden

Already married couples can renew their vows in the chapel. Every year there are about 140 weddings and 20 baptisms at the ice church.

Happy winter everyone!
